https://finance.yahoo.com/ charts hang after a couple of hours

Description

Opening https://finance.yahoo.com/chart/TQQQ causes other connections to https://finance.yahoo.com/chart/xxx to hang within 1-2 hours.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open https://finance.yahoo.com/chart/TQQQ during the trading day (9:30 to 16:00 EST). The exact stock symbol does not matter.
2. Change to a different tab and/or minimize the browser
3. Check back in a couple of hours (1 hour should be sufficient)

Actual result:

Reloading the page or opening new tabs on https://finance.yahoo.com/chart/xxx hang. If you restart the browser and try again this works just fine.

Expected result:

Connections should not hang.

Reproduces how often:

Intermittent issue (happens consistently at least once a day)

Desktop Brave version:

Brave | 1.32.115 Chromium: 96.0.4664.93 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Version/Channel Information:

No idea. I only tested the stable channel.

• Can you reproduce this issue with the nightly channel? Didn't check.

Other Additional Information:

• Does the issue resolve itself when disabling Brave Shields? Didn't check.
• Does the issue resolve itself when disabling Brave Rewards? Didn't check.
• Is the issue reproducible on the latest version of Chrome? No. I've never seen this problem with Chrome.

Still an issue @cowwoc I just tested the site using https://finance.yahoo.com/chart/BTC-USD?p=BTC-USD , from an EU IP I'll get the consent overlay which did slow the page load a little.
