Search results sometimes initially load in chinese

Steps to Reproduce

1. type in query in address bar
2. hit enter
3. view results in chinese characters

Intermittent issue. I originally thought it was an issue with an extension but it is also happening on mobile...
After a reload it appears to show the correct results

  I was able to reproduce with nightly version

Closing this issue because it's a problem with DuckDuckGo and not Brave. Tested on Safari and got the same result.
