Keywords: Set custom frame rates, plus add custom VRR-specific tests such as VRR flicker, test GSYNC, test FreeSync, test VESA Adaptive Sync
There is a long-term goal to add VRR support to TestUFO.
There are three possible paths being evaluated:
Changes to browser standards
HTML standards does not yet support VRR. This has been extremely difficult. If a standards author wants to help me with a possible WHATWG initiative and Chromium code modifications, please inquire within. This will benefit the world.
Executable app (TestUFO.exe)
Probably a CEF wrapper. If someone needs this feature expedited via the TestUFO.exe method, approximately ~120 hours of developer time needs to be funded. (Support Blur Busters by paying for services.blurbusters.com including custom TestUFO test creation services)
Open Source Third party browser with VRR API extensions
If you are an open source developer willing to modify your web browser fork to add VRR extensions, I can recommend your web browser when doing VRR tests. Chromium-based would be preferred (since it has HDR support too), but will consider other engines too.
