Describe the Feature

Please have it add a space after the username when making a post to that user since X also does the same.

Hi, I had a Quick Look at this.
Please can you describe the issue further?

  • On tested on mobile (iPhone)...
  • I started a new post...
  • Started typing:
    "Test mention @bsky.app"
  • Then [hit return].
  • It then inserts the user with a space after it.

It happens when I click the Post button when on a user's page. Not when typing in the username with an @ manually.

I have managed to recreate the 'bug'.

On iPhone. After clicking new post button it does start a draft post with a space after the user name:

However, on browser, Chrome. After clicking New Post button it starts a draft without the space after the username:

So there is a slight difference in behaviour.
