• @felder for handling the package installation challenges for Astro!
• @ryanlovett for handling the Stat 20 hub. Appreciate it!

Updates from last week ✔

• The first edition of the Berkeley Datahub newsletter is out! Please help to spread the word out to get more subscribers!
• Onboarding email was sent to all DataScience instructors. Eric and I are setting up one on one conversations to set other instructors up for success by doing demos.
• Workshop with Sociology instructors was conducted last week and another workshop with Civil and Environmental Engineering is scheduled tomorrow. Overall, Had positive feedback from sociology instructors about adopting Datahub.
• Attended the Jupyter accessibility meeting last Saturday which was mind-blowing. Notes and Slide deck that you may find useful
• Lot of momentum with regards to the resource-sharing conversation between RTL and CDSS leadership. Have a meeting next Wednesday to introduce Datahub to Campus IT leadership.
• Wrote to CDSS finance head Blair related to upgrading Circle CI premium account. Getting an Erso card post her approval would be the way forward to finance the future charges

Challenges I faced and things I'd like assistance with 🙏

• Need to ensure that we have a smooth Data 8 class tomorrow 1/19 (expecting 1700+ students logging in at the same time)
• Would like to request ideas to keep this biweekly communication structure going?

• My new macbook pro with the M1 pro chip arrived on Saturday. Not surprisingly, I encountered this issue pointed out to me by @petersudmant
