Stop after reading email

Hello, is there a way to make it stop automatically after reading an email in thunderbird ?

I have to keep clicking the clear button after reading mail, can you make it go off after reading mail or opening thunderbird.

Using with Ubuntu 20.04

Hi @Sarisisop ,

This is something that thunderbird would have to do (dismiss their own notifcation if you read that email).

From gnome shell's point of view there's no way for this extension to acknowledge that you just read an email that is related to a currently visible notification, unfortunatly.

I tried it as the thunderbird icon no longer changes to show numbers when there is new mail.

Oh well thank you anyway, it's a handy extension so I will keep it.
