Description

• As a qualified supplier, manufacturer, general user, Service BC personnel or BC Registries staff I want to request a transport permit so that I can receive the transport permit out and have the authority to move my non-exempt home

Current Business Rules

• A manufactured home must have a transport permit to move it OR be exempt under the Act OR have a registered exemption

A transport permit may be registered only if ALL of the following are true:

• the manufactured home is not exempt
• the owner name and manufactured home's location in the MH Registry match the manufactured home's documentation
• the manufactured home has a tax certificate valid for 30 days from the date of permit creation OR the manufactured home is located on a manufacturer's or dealer's lot OR the move is within a manufactured home park
• no crown or Misc Reg Act charges against the manufactured home exist in PPR
• the application includes the required information
• the application is submitted by an appropriate authority

Manufacturer

• a Manufacturer can request a transport permit only for a manufactured home currently stored on a manufacturer or dealer's lot, and can submit a transport permit request for the same home only once.

Destination
A transport permit's destination must be one of the following:

• manufactured home park
• dealership
• Indian reserve
• strata
• Other

Dealership

• A dealership name must be included with a transport permit if the destination is to a dealership

Confirmation of Land Status
A confirmation of land status must be included with a transport permit registration if:

• the destination is a manufactured home park AND the move is not within the same park
• the destination is a strata, Indian reserve, or other

Registry Notice of Transport Permit
The Registry must send notice of an application for a transport permit to the following:

• a lessee-owner when the application is made by a lessor owner
• a secured party(ies) with a financing statement, Crown or Misc Reg Act charge against the manufactured home
• name of the applicant
• location to which the home is being transported to

PID

• A PID must exist in the Land Titles Registry if a transport permit's destination is a PID

Data Input Requirements

A transport permit registration application must include all of the following:

• destination type
• name of owner
• address of owner
• telephone number of owner
• name of submitter
• address of submitter
• telephone number of submitter
• current address of the home
• whether the home is leaving BC
• destination address
• tax certificate may be required

Data Output Requirements

A transport permit must display the following:

• date of issue
• expiry date (30 days after the date of issue)
• permit number
• destination

Lien Check when submitting Transport Permits. I have not seen it in the tickets that I worked on. Have you @LizGovier? Or maybe it is a verify @chdivyareddy?

Hey @dimak1 I believe this was covered in Doug's API ticket for PPR Lien Checks #17853

Now that Transport Permits are ready, we may just need to check to see if the lien check works. I can look at this Monday morning.
