Enhancement: direction of nearest points in overlay

When an overlay track is displayed, it would be brilliant and helpful to know the distance and direction of the two nearest points or turns. I think some logic to identify nearby points may already be present in the track editor.

If this could also be in a notification on the lock screen, maybe with current speed and distance, then we could run/ride along preplanned tracks without unlocking the phone at each unclear junction.
