It's possible to use compressed files with Kinesis Agent ?

Hey,

Unfortunately not. Files with such extensions (e.g. gz, bz2, zip) will currently be ignored in tailing.

This is a great thing to document -- I just specifically wrote my logrotate script to avoid compressing files because I was concerned about this. :)

Any roadmap to support this feature? To ingest data from compressed files like gz, bz2, zip? Thanks.
