Problem

URLs sent to chat by the user are barely visible in the VSCode light theme, which is used widely by developers, so for UX reasons this should be addressed.

Steps to reproduce the issue

  1. Enabled the VSCode light theme in the example app
  2. Send a URL into the chat prompt

Expected behavior

The URL color should change with the theme colors.

System details

  • OS: macOS
  • Tested enviroment:
    • Web (Demo app)
    • VSCode Amazon Q Chat
    • JetBrains IntelliJ Amazon Q Chat
  • Enviroment extension version (if applicable):
  • Enviroment is remote
