Ok to use with a Lambda?

Hello,

I'm looking into using this library in a Lambda for caching a 3rd party auth token.
The docs mention aspnet and have no mention of lambda usage.
I have it working. The question is, should I be using this?

We generally think of Microsoft's distributed cache framework in the context of ASP.NET Core and that is what samples using the framework are using. But you are right you can configure the IDistributedCache in your DI container without it being an ASP.NET Core application. I don't see any problems using this library or the IDistributedCache framework outside of an ASP.NET Core scenario including Lambda.
