Describe the issue

KMS has replaced the term customer master key (CMK) with KMS key and KMS key .

Should that not be written as:

KMS has replaced the term customer master key (CMK) with KMS key.

HI @rbeede, thanks for reaching out. Based on https://docs.aws.amazon.com/kms/latest/cryptographic-details/kms-keys.html, I think the intended wording is "AWS KMS is replacing the term customer master key (CMK) with AWS KMS key and KMS key." Either way, thank you for pointing this out. I've cut a ticket to the service team to address this typo.
