What are your thoughts on the new cpcert tool?

The upcoming v0.19.0 release adds a new tool: cpcert.

This tool is intended to provide an alternative to using either of openssl s_client or gnutls-cli combined with sed to copy a certificate chain and save to a file. The initial implementation will support optionally filtering the input certificate chain to specific certificate types (e.g., "just keep the leaf" or "just keep intermediate certs").

Later updates to the tool are intended to expand functionality further.

If you've used it (presuming that the tool will be available by the time you read this), what are your thoughts?

Is the documentation / examples coverage sufficient to make using the tool straightforward?
