Would be nice to have an offline copy of some documents like credit card, passport etc.

Very useful for travel documents! I think I've read this somewhere before, and there was a comment about security - downloading onto your device means that anyone who has access to the device could potentially gain access to your documents. But if I want to have the document offline, I'd rather have it somewhat protected, possibly with a "remove offline copy after XXX" days rather than have a PDF saved to my downloads directory or a JPG saved in my gallery

It might also be possible to store the documents encrypted, so they can only be opened in the (unlocked) app.

Offline/cached/synced documents is very useful when you don't have internet access and need to open or search for a document. Or when you cannot connect to your server
