My name is Tie Koide, I started using AsTeRICS-Grid to build a communication system for my son who is 6 years old. He speaks mostly single words and we are hoping that an ACC can help improve his communication. We are in Ribeirão Preto, Brazil. I started trying to build a system since AsTeRICS launched and now I believe I have a first draft of a robust communication system. I have a question about the possibility to search for elements in grids (#77). Therapists started using and asked if this was possible, since it facilitates navigating the system. Thank you very much. |

Hello, My name is Emmanuelle and I am a neuropsychologist. I discovered Asterics grid recently and I think it's great to finally offer an open source solution that works on android, even on smartphones. |

Hello and thanks for joining! 👍 Great that AsTeRICS Grid is useful for you!
Sounds great. If you have finished a configuration where you think it could be valuable for other people, you could send it to me and I can add it to the default configurations that can be imported at the start.
This should already be possible, go to
There's already this issue with ideas how to implement it: #254 - feel free to add you thoughts there. Aside from this ARASAAC is creating an API which will add a feature for automatic correction of grammar, see #242 - however at the beginning this will only be available in Spanish.
What do you mean exactly? Changing the color of the text within an grid element? There's already this issue, where you could add additional ideas: #168
Yes, I've heard this idea somewhere else before, feel free to add a new issue for it. |

I'm Dale Ehrhart from Flint, Mi and I'm an assistive technology consultant with the Genesee Intermediate School District near Flint, Michigan. With regards to AAC, I'm mostly concerned with classroom implementation issues in buildings with high staff turnover. |
