Provide an API for creating cycles, something like:

    let foo = cx.manage_cyclic(|foo| AStructWithASelfReference { me: foo })

Or something like:

let cx = cx.cyclic_init();
let foo = cx.initializing();
cx.cyclic_manage(AStructWithASelfReference { me: foo });

which is essentially what the global initializer does.
