Hi there, I am really new to this, and struggle to find any answers that I am capable to understand, so be kind...
I got the Creality CV-01 Pro, which is a nice machine. I detached the X-axis, and got an ortur rotary to turn my objects. Now I do not want to laser on cans or cups, but on drum shells, round bent wood objects with the diameter of 8-20 inch (64,5 - 143,5cm circular measured).
I hooked up the machine to LaserGRBL, and it works fine without the rotary. Using the rotary, I recognized that it is turning in the wrong direction. How can I fix that? (I can turn the rotary around, i just realized, but then the cord might be too short)
Now this is the real issue: My objects have a larger scope than the original machine has; I tried to set up the file in the right size, and see what happens if I ignore the restrictions, but during rendering the software simply froze and I had to restart. Can it be that the software ran out of RAM? (using an old PC to run the software, an acer laptop with 4GB RAM as I recall...)
Also, I want to change the position where the laser starts from, is there an easy way to set the laser at my desired position and to start from there?
Sorry if these are the absolute noob questions, i am a noob...
