ADC always shows 176 at 0V

What is the reason that the ADC always measures at least 176? Does the voltage come from the internal voltage divider?
I have a wind sensor that starts with a 0V output. It would be a shame if values were only recorded from ~1.2 m/s onwards.

Something else: In the config, you can select ADC_Voltage. However, I couldn’t find anything about it in the documentation. Are there additional settings here, such as offset, digits, or multiplier?

You do not specify is it is an ESP-8266 or ESP-32
