When trying to send a Slack message using the “Blocks” field populated with {{Send_Direct_Message.data}}, the request fails unexpectedly.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Go to the Slack integration inside Appsmith.
  2. Select the “Send Message” action.
  3. Populate the Blocks field with {{Send_Direct_Message.data}}.
  4. Execute the action

Expected behaviour:
The message should be sent successfully, rendering the provided blocks

The video describes that you are sending invalid block. Try sending block data using https://app.slack.com/block-kit-builder/
