A typo in the database keyname list of kindlekey.py caused the Mac version to write the key incorrectly, thus breaking the whole decryption process. I believe this is the reason why the Mac version was malfunctioning for so many users on version 7, compared to version 6 (possibly related issues: #1777, #1806, #1822, #1826, #1836, #1926).
