It will very beneficial if it can automatically register transactions on basis of sms for UPI and bank transfers, etc. it can have popup pannel for more info such as categorise, etc.

Can you elaborate the idea beyond couple of sentences?

As an initial response(although I am not the original author), the code benefit/usage of ledger is not in automating things but to keep things as core as possible. I don't see an automated way to reconcile bank transactions in Paisa or any other app. You can also refer to GnuCash for example, the support is very limited and only to EU banks who use the OpenBanking protocol.

What you need at the end of the day is to look at your expense, income, asset, liability. Once you enter this information, you get the resulting value.
