This repository contains Persian poem corpus. There are 48 documents in this folder, each corresponding to one poet. There are three folders and all contain documents for all of the 48 poets.
original: contaits the original documents that is web scraped from ganjoor.
normalized: contains the same files, however, with its alphabet normalized. With this I mean we have removed all unnecessary alphabets that has passed through web scraping.
Moreover, sometimes Arabic replacement of Persian documents are provided. In these cases we replaced them with their corresponding Persian alphabet.
Stop words removed: finally, the stopwords are removed for each poet and is available in this folder.
There are 48 poets in this list. They are born all the way from 10th century B.C. to the contemporary time. This table consist of their names and a link to their wikipedia.
