In addition to the shear force and bending moment, it may prove useful to plot the normal force in the beam.
In principle, this is not complicated to implement, since in absence of distributed normal reactions the normal force is constant in each segment, therefore one has only to tweak the initial solution of the equilibrium equations and the supports logical flags.
