v0.1.2-alpha Pre-release
Pre-release

(Due to time constraints extensive testing was not made so bugs are probably numerous, apologies !)

  • Removed ownership of land provinces by Military Officials like Tagma or others but added semi-landless county titles tied to Constantinople and two places in Anatolia for Ioannes Doukas, Konstantinos Doukas and Ioannes Komnenos. (Dynamic titles of this type for other characters should be available to purchase in a later update). This cause flickering of the "Roman Empire" name on the map unfortunatly.
  • Added automatic joining of any war by Roman provincial military forces depending on their distance from the attacker's realm (if a neighbor attacks the Empire, the closest provincial military forces should automatically join the war.)
  • Added a new window: Institutions, covering for now only Roman Institutions with the Senate, Army and Administration. For now they are cosmetic and visual but they will offer for minor events and interactions. In the future, should be extended to all rulers and cover things like Administration and the fiscal military state rise over time.
  • Modified Roman Government System following Scarecrow recommendations (cf Administrative Proposal #2). Previous Title duality is gone and the difference is made on Vassal Contracts.
  • Added Legitimacy and Popularity mechanics (cf Political System #1) they are not yet fully integrated to all possible actions but for now Legitimacy is used for the Emperor Elections and can be gain from various factors (Proximity to the Emperor, high office title, winning battles etcc). Popularity is restricted to the Emperor and can be gained/lost from a few events (Coronation) and on winning/losing wars.
  • Improved Officials Salary: now 5 for Strategos/Doux (from 3 )and 2.5 for Krites (from 1).
  • Geographical Changes: Duchies of Macva merged to the duchy-level province of Sirmiou.
  • Geographical Changes: Added the counties of Adrianopolis, Janitsa, Mezeshka, Didmyoteichon, Lyutitsa, Byalgrad, Ustra and Zherkovo to the new duchy-level province of Macedonia
  • Geographical Changes: Added Sozopolis to Thrace duchy
  • Geographical Changes: Renamed Phillipopolis duchy to Paradounavon
  • Geographical Changes: Removed the counties of Mosynopolis and Traianopolis from Strymon and added them to new Macedonia duchy
  • You can actually change Roman Vassals laws now
  • Added historical traits for Robert Guiscard: Tall, Fair and Strong
  • Decreased CB Prestige cost for County Claim by 50%
  • Decreased Piety Prestige cost for County Holy War by 50%
