Welcome to the Nibiru Framework Discussions. To maintain a productive and positive environment, we ask all participants to adhere to the following rules and guidelines.
1. Be Respectful
Personal Attacks: Avoid any form of personal attacks. This includes any derogatory, defamatory, or abusive statements directed at another user.
Example: Instead of "You clearly don't know what you're talking about," try "I disagree with your point because...".
Hate Speech: Refrain from using any language that discriminates or promotes hatred against individuals based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, or any other personal attributes.
2. Stay On Topic
Relevance: Ensure your discussions and comments directly relate to the Nibiru Framework. Avoid deviating into unrelated subjects.
Example: If a discussion is about a specific feature in the Nibiru Framework, don't start discussing a different software's features unless it's for comparison or context.
3. No Spam or Self-Promotion
Repetitive Posts: Do not post the same content or questions repeatedly. Duplicate posts will be removed.
Promotion: While we encourage sharing of resources that can benefit the community, blatant self-promotion or advertisement without clear relevance to the Nibiru Framework is discouraged.
Example of Allowed Promotion: "I wrote a detailed tutorial on integrating XYZ with Nibiru Framework. Here's the link for those interested."
4. Search Before Posting
Avoiding Duplication: Before initiating a new discussion, search the forum to see if a similar topic already exists. This helps consolidate information and reduce clutter.
Example: If you have an error message, copy and paste a part of it into the search bar to see if others have discussed solutions before.
5. Report, Don't Engage
Handling Violations: If you encounter a post or comment that violates these guidelines, use GitHub's reporting tools. Engaging or retaliating can escalate the situation.
Example: If someone uses inappropriate language, instead of responding with more inappropriate language, simply report the comment.
6. Keep Feedback Constructive
Critique with Purpose: Feedback, even if negative, should be actionable and aim to improve the project or discussion.
Example: Instead of "This feature is terrible," try "I believe this feature could be improved by..."
7. No Personal Information
Privacy: Never share personal details without explicit consent. This includes not only your details but also those of others.
Example: Do not post screenshots from private chats or emails without the consent of all involved parties.
8. Follow GitHub's Terms of Service
Consequences for Not Adhering to Guidelines:
Moderation Policy: Our moderators are volunteers from the community who work diligently to maintain a positive environment. Please respect their decisions and understand they act in the best interest of the community.
Thank you for contributing to the Nibiru Framework community in a respectful and constructive manner!
