Proposal for a New Application Icon

I am currently thinking about a new application icon for Goneovim. I like the current icon, but I am thinking of using Neovim's iconic blue and green colors to make it more obvious that it is Neovim's GUI.
Here are the icons I am working on at the moment.

Looks great!

It looks like currently all the MacOS apps follow the same design guidelines and have a rounded rectangle as background. I think the icon would look more modern if Goneovim followed this trend.

Seconded, that background is a relatively simple but impactful way to make the icon look a lot more "modern" for macOS.

And as the slack logo (among others) show... it really doesn't need to be much more than a rounded rectangle as a background 😅
