Bereshit 9,29 not according to writing in Torah scroll #112

According to Masorah, the verse starts with וַֽיְהִי֙ and not with וַיִּֽהְיוּ֙. In the text used by Sefaria, there is some kind of footnote explaining this.

That is fascinating, I had no idea – thanks for reporting! I'll have to look into this.

If there's truly a discrepancy between Ashkenaz/Sephard, I would need to think about how to represent that in the app. I also assume this may not be the only instance. I'm open to hearing ideas.

I checked the printed Tikkun editions I own and all have וַֽיְהִי֙. No edition marks the difference… strange.
