@ramirezfranciscof When moving the docs for this section, please add a new subsection at the beginning

Version history
---------------

 * ``v4``: ``aiida-core>=1.0.0``. Only ``/nodes``, ``/processes``, ``/calcjobs``, ``/groups``, ``/computers`` and ``/servers`` endpoints remain.
    Note: AiiDA 1.0.0 not supported by the provenance explorer on materialscloud.org (only ``aiida-core>=1.0.1``)
 * ``v3``: ``aiida-core>=1.0.0b3,<1.0``. Intermediate version, never part of stable release.
 * ``v2``: ``aiida-core>=0.8.0,<1.0.0b3``. First version, with new endpoints added step by step.

As established per #4451, this section should include the content currently unlinked in core/extend_restapi.rst (part of the old documentation)
