I am currently assembling a diploid genome and have noticed that a specific chromosome begins with a white region lacking Hi-C signals.
When zooming in on this region, it appears as shown below.
Should I move this region to the "debris"? Although I have edited various plant genomes using Juicebox, this is the first time I have encountered such a case, so I wanted to ask for your advice.
