I thought I was going a little mad. When I started using it my books were added instantly then all of a sudden it stopped. This was in the space of 1 day and i thought I'd maybe imagined it. |

There was a bug, but I had to wait to fix it because I was in the middle of a full re-write of the web app. I just released I had to re-write the web app bookshelf so that it can handle large libraries better. Will need to do the same with mobile app next. There might be a few kinks to work out, but I'll be able to fix bugs on that quickly. |

It seems from the documentation that I shouldn't have to manually scan my audiobook folder(s) but books are not being added to the gui until I log in as root and browse to settings -> Libraries -> Main -> scan. I can see the new books show up in the docker logs, but the scanner process doesn't start automatically. In the logs below, you can see several "add file" lines when the book's files were copied over to the correct folder on the server, but the "[Scanner]" lines don't start until I logged back in as root around 14:03 and manually started the scan process. Am I doing something wrong?
