Custom folder on startup #8241
Comments
Hi @wellbornduke! Could you please provide more information about your setup?
|
Ofcourse. |
@wellbornduke Can you go to the folder If so, can you try these steps:
Thanks! |
Could #8115 possibly be related to this? |
Could be. Seems the same thing. Do you know a solution? Can't seem to find a fix for it right now |
@sbruchmann Do you know a solution? |
Sorry for the delay, @wellbornduke. Try to rename or remove |
@sbruchmann That did the trick! Thank you so much! :) |
@wellbornduke Glad to hear that it worked out for you! @peterflynn Seems like this is a good fit for the Troubleshooting wiki page, isn’t it? |
Reviewed - to me, medium for the current cycle. We should investigate since there have been a couple worrisome reports similar to this. |
Moving to Release 43 |
@sbruchmann @peterflynn I added a Preferences are Not Saved section. This is basically the same as the Clear the Cache section, but that's under Can't Launch Brackets, so it might be skipped over. |
Taking the milestone off since we need a reproducible recipe. We also made some changes which may have fixed this. |
Reviewed. We don't have anything new to go on here and I vaguely remember there being changes to recent projects recently. I'm going to close this. If someone else runs into this problem, please open a new bug and we can actively track this down. |
I used to get my custom folder whenever I opened Brackets and the files I recently opened. Now whenever I start Brackets, I just get the 'Getting started' folder and the index.html file in it.
Any way to change this?
And the font size always changes back to the default size when it used to be the size I used last.
