  1. Set up Brackets for hacking the standard way (so the shell has a "dev" symlink to your source folder)
  2. Launch Brackets on the Getting Started project (which will open from the dev symlink)
  3. Open another editor on samples/root/Getting Started/index.html from within the Brackets repo (i.e. not through the symlink)
  4. Make an edit in that editor and save it
  5. Switch back to Brackets

Result: Brackets doesn't notice the change.

@bchintx Please take a look, i assume this is not a must fix for Cycle 36 build.

@njx This turned out to be due to symlinks, right? So it only happens in unusual cases like after running setup_for_hacking.sh -- and the changes are never detected in this case (not just 'not right away'), right?

Oh nm, looks like this is a dupe of #6692 that somehow got created. Closing.
