Legacy channel URLs

It seems that the YouTube channel format with /user/ in the URL is a legacy format.

Also, channel URLs appear to be 25 characters long now and they start with "UC".

Also, I'd like to assume that the "UC" at the beginning of channels has something to do with the some sort of count, but according to a user on this stack-overflow post in 2017 it's been there for a while
