What did you expect to happen?

The navigation steps in the onboarding wizard to look like they should

What happened instead?

The are rendered underneath each other.

How can we reproduce this behavior?

Open the onboarding wizard in IE9

A possible solution if changing the styling doesn't work, is hiding this completely in IE9.

Only the styling is strange, it functions like it should.

Technical info

  • WordPress version: 4.6.1
  • Yoast SEO version: 3.6 beta

It appears material-ui doesn't support IE 9, the reason being many of their components use CSS flexbox. See mui/material-ui#468 (comment)
