Sorry if this is a dumb question. I followed the steps listed in the README, and clicked on "Load" when the dialog popped up. However, the cursor in Xcode doesn't seem to change. I also tried defaults delete com.apple.dt.Xcode DVTPlugInManagerNonApplePlugIns-Xcode-11.6 and installed from the develop branch again, with the same results.

I can find the file $HOME/Library/Application\ Support/Developer/Shared/Xcode/Plug-ins/XVim2.xcplugin

I couldn't find any settings regarding XVim in the GUI of Xcode though maybe that's to be expected.

My MacOS is 10.15.6

Please let me know if there an obvious step that I've missed, or if I could provide any debugging info. Or maybe XVim2 does not support Xcode 11.6 yet?

I'm the same macOS and Xcode version with you. It works fine on my computer.

  1. Try restart.
  2. Do these steps again.

I'm on Big Sur beta 20A5354 from 26 august, the 12.0 and 11.6 Xvim2 don't work (but the plugin is detected)

when I push ESC, the autocompletion appears

I rollback now to Catalina
