Level will not load on Linux Mint 21.1

The game starts under Linux Mint 21.1 but when loading a level the game crashes. Both in a VM and natively on 2 different systems.
The console shows the following:
Memory access error (memory dump written)
TR1+TR2 German version.
Starting with Windows version Openlara.exe (Wine) works.

Same problem here on UBUNTU 23.04 ...

• scan 2 files
• init gamepads:
• Memory access error (SIGSEGV) (memory dump written)

(I have no gamepad connected, but it shouldn't be the problem)
