List block - possibility to add other blocks

I think it would be great to have the possibility to add in h1/h2/h3 etc. within the list. Is there a reason why this hasn't been done yet?

That is a good question.
I see that the issue has been overlooked.

I will link in this issue: #6394 which is about creating nesting for the List block. That would be a good place to add the possibility of adding a Heading block.
