Hi, all images have ALT attributes.

@zzap This ticket should be ready to be closed.

I offered an idea for automating this process. It may be a helpful docs team onboarding experience to do it manually.. as afterthought! Nonetheless...

Double checking the images

  • Used the inspector in Chrome's developer tools to look at the HTML
  • searched for all images and double checked them for relevant alt tags.

One one image is missing alt tag

The only file without one is the WordPress smiley face, which has been in Core for a long time. It's safe to assume it meets accessibility standards

From Harvard:

Leave alt text blank if the image is purely decorative
