I have experienced this today the second time, so I thought it may be worth mentioning:
I noticed updates pending, both for solaredge-modbus-multi (requiring a restart of HA) and for HA. I thought it's a good idea to do the update of solaredge-modbus-multi first and do the HA update second, killing two birds with one stone. This lead to some kind of race condition that made my HA VM unresponsible and also the host, Ubuntu 24.04 on a Q6600 CPU with 8 GB RAM with only SSDs. Sadly I cannot show any log entries (nothing meaningful there), but only watching the host, it looked like constant 100% HDD usage. I am using KVM / Qemu of the shelf, exactly as recommended by HA instructions. I had to reset the host, both updates were not applied after reboot. When updating in reverse order, that problem seems to not occur. I feel sorry that I cannot deliver any data - perhaps you can point me in a direction that might be interesting to show.
