yes there is, but how exactly depend on your setup. Check out this issue regarding the same question Webklex/php-imap#192 especially the last comment.

For me it worked setting the email to the shared mailbox. In addition I needed to set the access rights to the mailbox for the application via power shell.. described on this page:
