Hi everyone,

I recently bought a Kobra 3 Combo and installed this beautiful integration. I'm using the token out of my Anycubic Slicer Next, as mentioned. But unfortunately, when I'm using the integration, I'm getting logged out of the cloud in the Slicer app. Is this normal? Isn't it possible to use the integration and the slicer in parallel?

Thanks for your help!
Felix

Hey @zoesn89 unfortunately this is normal - anycubic won't respond to me about changing this.

You can either use web auth which has less functionality and slower updates or use slicer auth and then log your slicer out afterwards.

If there's anything you'd like the integration to do that you currently need the slicer for I can try to incorporate that though

Hey @WaresWichall,

Thank you for your response and clarification. I have the issue that I usually use OS X (Mac). Unfortunately, the final version of AC Slicer Next is not yet available for Mac. As a workaround, I am using AC Slicer Next on an old PC. However, I’ve noticed that I repeatedly encounter issues with certain layers when slicing with Next. When I use OrcaSlicer, I don’t experience these problems.

I’ve now tried slicing with OrcaSlicer and uploading the G-code via your integration. Unfortunately, I keep getting the error message “Validation error: Could not read gcode file” when using print (no cloud save) and the error message "Empty material list in gcode file" when using print (save in user cloud).

For this reason, my current workflow for preparing prints looks like this: I slice with OrcaSlicer on the Mac, export the G-code, import it on the PC into AC Next Slicer via the AC Cloud, and then start the print using Next.

It would be great if you could take a look at why files from OrcaSlicer don’t work with your integration.

Thanks
Felix

Hey @zoesn89 are you using one of the anycubic orca templates that are around? Do the gcode files work if you print from sd card?

If you join the anycubic discord and send me a private message with the gcode I can take a look

Or if you'd prefer to use the home assistant forums that's fine too

Hi @WaresWichall,

sorry for the late reply.
Here is a g-code file, which I sliced in OrcaSlicer: https://cloud.zoesch.de/s/GgzJoQX7gPo4rYE

Thanks
Felix
