The latest release mentions how to install it onto an SD card, but doesn't explain it much
Is a more in-depth explanation on how to do this (preferably without Rufus) possible? Thanks

The process is no different than installing it on an external drive for a traditional PC when wanting to put Windows on an SD card.
Microsoft has a few documentation pages to help you here that you can follow to put Windows on an SD card:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/manufacture/desktop/configure-uefigpt-based-hard-drive-partitions?view=windows-11 https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/manufacture/desktop/capture-and-apply-windows-using-a-single-wim?view=windows-11
The rest of the process is explained on the release page.
