Coal Post-Install Issue

Following the VMware Fusion directions to deploy a Coal based headnode... coal-latest unpacked with this file: coal-release-20160331-20160331T053307Z-g55f2969-4gb.vmwarevm

I deployed twice, making sure to expand to 8G of memory the second time. I've been using my own passwords, hostnames, regions, etc.
