Learnings

• Location, connection size and consumption are the only three parameters used in system size estimation. Besides available roof space if this proves to be a limiting factor.
• The assumed capacity of the panels is not clearly indicated. Probably good to show this more prominently
• Technicians tend to think in m2 per watt peak.
• Cost estimations seem to be on the safe side. Which is probably a good thing.
• 12 year lifetime expectancy for the inverter may be too optimistic. Warranty tends to be 5 years, although life expectancy is longer than that. 10 years is a better estimate
• The 5% yearly electricity costs is on the conservative side.
