Show status if redirect to alias

@Tom-van-Woudenberg could you please elaborate? I don't see how I could extend/modify the status message.

In this case the root redirects to an alias instead of a branch. t would be nice if the status message shows the status of the corresponding branch (corresponding to the alias)

We could also consider not having the status there at all, because it's a duplicate status message.
