How "All News Comes From TACC"?

Goal

Update issues based on the new knowledge that no news is expected to be directly entered into Frontera.*

* It should all come from TACC… old TACC or new TACC?

Questions

1. How can the articles shown on new Frontera site be entered on new TACC site if new TACC site does not exist?

Requirements

1. Any issue that assumes news is entered on Frontera must be updated to define automatic retrieval of news (like Article Lists: Events - via Auto-Load from TACC #85 does from Article Lists: Output Blog Articles at URL #84).
2. All issues defining automatic retrieval of news (initially Article Lists: Events - via Auto-Load from TACC #85 and Article Lists: Events - via Auto-Load from TACC #85) should be updated to use Python instead of JavaScript—otherwise, too much of the site relies on JavaScript. This also means that WMA must help, because @tacc-wbomar can not develop quickly in Python.
3. The estimates might decrease because entering the articles on TACC do not need to be rendered attractively through the Blog/News plugin*, but the estimates may increase because of the need for Python and work done by the less-available WMA.

* The articles still need to be rendered attractively through the Frontera site (using templates not related to Blog/News plugin).

Direction

Question No. 1

• Aaron had the unique idea to not show the articles on Frontera, but instead show them on new TACC site using Frontera header.
• Pagination is doable, but requires WMA (@wesleyboar would have embarrassing difficulty with both learning the Python for this and doing the math for this).
• If it is expected that articles automatically be read from current TACC site, then the work to do this will overlap a bit with the work to export articles from current TACC site.

Why "All News Comes From TACC"

[C]urrently all articles on the frontera website link to external articles, and in most cases to the [TACC] website. [W]e want all of our subsites (everything outside of the primary [TACC] website) to drive traffic to our main site, and to keep all of our news in a single feed.
