There's a new attachInterrupt implementation that should make it possible for attachInterrupt to coexist with interrrupts defined manually, see the docs. But with default option it should be entirely transparent, just smaller.

HUGE doc expansion, though I don't think codespell does a very good job with spellcheck I welcome copyediting pull requests. Sometimes my typing accuracy just collapses,,... I get out of phase or something. and fee; like Im typing accurately when I'm uh, not./
