Question regarding the app id for webcord

Today, I saw something interesting. The app_id for webcord is set to io.github.spacingbat3.webcord. This is the result I got from appstream-cli

But, I can't find any post/issue/discussion where @SpacingBat3 officially confirms this. Can you kindly confirm that this should be the app identifier for webcord?

I'm honestly not sure what should I be confirming, the app ID is something I think should be associated to the given builds. I guess it is OK for now if the Flatpak/Snap is based upon the official builds and doesn't modify them that much… But I guess it would be great if you change it when you build it yourself and modify the app in any way, then I guess you should either change the prefix to something else than io.github.spacingbat3 to kinda indentify your build as something else or add some kind of postfix, e.g. with the repo name.
I would basically follow how unofficial F-Droid apps set their own app id in case of Android, given I suppose this topic was surely discussed there before. And I think even in F-Droid you might see different approaches in case of app id changes for unofficial builds that aren't approved by the developers in any way, for some there's no changes of it at all...

Snaps actually doesn't have such thing. But, often the GUI stores uses appstream metadata. So, asked about it.
