Would it be possible to keep this solution available for local network use, as it has been for the past 10 years, while also offering the option to switch to LimeWire?
From a branding perspective, this shift could impact LimeWire’s image, as millions of users rely on this solution each month. Its main appeal has always been its local, cloud-free functionality, enabling seamless clipboard and file sharing.
Those who prefer cloud-based transfers already have alternative solutions. Providing an option to maintain the local transfer experience would ensure continuity for these users while embracing new features but when you force those millions of people to use a cloud solution it will cause some frustration and dissatisfaction
