Better handle icoextract errors

Sometimes icoextract may have an underlying python script error (depending on some dependencies being out of sync for whatever reason), which could cause weirdness.

I think I also may have just forgotten to account for this (in adding a placeholder image from XDG theme rather than a null bitmap) with Nero's launching window, lol.
